"There's a voice that doesn't use words. Listen" ~ Rumi.
Hi, I'm Rasha! I'm a hybrid soul from the Middle East and Asia, and I currently live in Toronto, Canada.
I am an avid reader, a practitioner of yoga and mindfulness, a soulful traveller, and a person who enjoys learning about and working with people.
I continue to learn about the intersection between modern science and mindfulness/yogic practices as tools for self-discovery and as a way to reduce the effects of chronic stress and trauma on the mind and body, and it is my passion to share this wisdom with people.
I fuse Buddhist mindfulness practices and philosophy with scientific literature as a way to create a holistic approach in my work with clients.
I specialize in offering individual and group trauma-sensitive yoga practices that emphasize on elements of safety, choice making, agency, shared authentic experience, and are embedded in neuroscience, attachment, and trauma theory.
I am currently working toward pursuing a graduate degree in clinical social work, where I hope to be able to offer a holistic approach to well-being, where the mind, body, and soul are integrated as part of the healing process.
Let me know how I can help you!
